Mark Gretchen’s "Slave Transactions of Guadalupe County, Texas" chronicles the names and contributions of slaves in and around Guadalupe County and their part in local history.  Linda Williams, with Bruce Coggin,  takes  the  historic journey from the early days of McQueeney to today.  A vast array of photos  renews  memories and  traces origins of landmarks and events including many little known anecdotes about the families and businesses  which were and are key to McQueeney’s growth.  Roxolin Bose Krueger’s"Dearest Bert" captures the hearts and interests of readers with a  touching collection of letters from World WarII hero Alvin Mueller, Jr.   Krueger takes her audience on a first person journey of that era, thru the vivid and personal accounts of Mueller’s experiences recorded  and saved for posterity in  his own handwritten thoughts and impressions,  which are now  shared  from his wife, the late Roberta "Bert" Posey Mueller.

Museum Director John Gesick’s  "Images of Seguin and Guadalupe County",  a pictorial,  showcases many events, families and landmarks from the Leon Collection historic archives and makes this work a timeless literary choice.  For more information, contact the museum at 830.372.0965, or email heritagemuseum@satx.rr.com.
