Meatloaf

1 1/2 lbs. chopped beef
1 egg
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 T. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
2 T. chopped onions
2 T. chopped celery leaves
Dash thyme or savory

Mix meat thoroughly with egg, crumbs, chopped parsley, and seasonings. Place in bread pan. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 40 minutes, basting frequently with stock or butter melted in hot water. Garnish with parsley or watercress and serve with Mushroom sauce or onion sauce. Serves 6.
