Visitor Information

Location

Seguin is easily accessible from the east or west by IH-10 or Hwy 90 and from the north and south by Hwy 46 or Hwy 123, and is conveniently located 33 miles east of San Antonio, 74 miles south of Austin, 155 miles west of Houston, and 135 miles north of Corpus Christi.

The Seguin Heritage Museum is located at 114 N River in downtown Seguin, just one block north of the Guadalupe County Courthouse. Free parking is available within a two block radius of the museum.

Hours

The museum is open Monday-Friday, 11:00am-4:00pm. The museum is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays; however, museum tours are available on Saturday by request (see below).

Admission

Admission is free; of course, new members and donations are always appreciated.

A guided tour with the Museum Director is available by appointment. Please call the museum at 830-372-0965 for more information.

Groups

Group visits and tours of the Museum may be tailored to your group's needs. If you would like to arrange a group tour, please call 830-372-0965 in advance of your visit to make a reservation. Be sure to mention your group's needs and interests.

Photography

Except where noted, photography for personal use is allowed with hand-held cameras and with available light or electronic flash attachments. Tripods and lights can only be used with prior permission from the Museum Director. Reproduction or sale of photographs is not allowed without Museum permission.
