Volunteer

Volunteers are an integral part of the Seguin-Guadalupe County Heritage Museum. Whether in the exhibit space, the office, or at special events, our volunteers are invaluable to making the museum function smoothly.

Since we are a small town museum, volunteers have the opportunity to experience all aspects of the museum and how it works. Volunteer positions are open to all individuals, and can be tailored to your specific skills or interests, including the following areas:

Development and Marketing

Help us to promote the museum as a leading South Texas cultural destination.

Curatorial and Conservation

Assist in the care, tracking, and exhibiting of objects in the museum's collection.

Internships

Gain professional experience through an internship at the museum. We have established internship programs with local colleges, and will work with your college or university to ensure that you receive appropriate hands-on work experience.
