We Dig Seguin
December 3, 2011
Have you ever wondered about that unusual fossil or arrowhead you found on your last trip to the south Texas countryside? If you’d like to know more about it,visit the museum and have a look around at displays of arrowheads, artifacts and photos. One of our staff can help you identify that mysterious "find". Letting everyone know “We Dig Seguin”, last year Texas archaeologists gave kids and adults alike, the opportunity to show an archaeologist an artifact they found and then the researcher told them all the data available about that object. Texas archaeologists were in Seguin to present a hands-on demonstration at the McKee/STAA dig, an 11,000 year old Paleo-Indian site, 2015 Stockdale Hwy, on the left, just past Starcke Park Bridge.
